RSS feeds and embedded media

RSS imageYou may notice the appearance of two new features on this site: funny orange buttons around the site, and links that open things over the top of the page you are reading.

The orange squares are RSS links, which allow you to subscribe to new content. This may be useful if you prefer to disable email notifications from the site, or if you are not a member of the site but want to keep up to date with our news or resources.

For more information on RSS and how to use it, see the potted guide to RSS.

You will see such links on the news page, events page and recent updates page.

You may also notice that some of the above links open in a different way to normal links, brining up an Apture window, allowing you to read PDF documents, images, Wikipedia articles or YouTube videos (and many other types of resources) without even leaving the page you are reading.
