The GPST society was set up by GPSTs in response to various unmet needs voiced by GP trainees/GPVTS trainees in South-East Scotland. It is run ‘by trainees, for trainees’ and we run social and educational events, support other trainees with resources and forums on this site and act as advocates for trainees in South East Scotland at a local and national level. This week when you see the payslip for this job, remember to check for the payscale increment, banding and basic rate. Underpayment may be more obvious than overpayment, but the latter can be a real problem when the amount you have been overpayed by is deducted from future payslips!
